No. 4 seed Michigan will face No. 13 South Dakota State in the second round of the 2013 NCAA Tournament in the South region.
The Wolverines earned a No. 1 ranking in the AP Poll back in January for the first time since the 1992-93 season, but then they went on to lose four of their next seven including at Penn State.
The winner in this matchup in Auburn Hills on March 21 will face the winner of No. 5 VCU and No. 12 Akron in the third round.
