Android 4.1, codenamed Jelly Bean is the next version of Google's mobile OS, expected to be announced at Google I/O 2012. Details on exactly what's changed since the last major Android version, Ice Cream Sandwich, are scant. However given its status as a point update, we're expecting mostly minor iterative changes over Android 4.0. This also means the process of updating existing hardware to Jelly Bean should be a bit smoother than the Gingerbread-to-ICS transition. (Or at least that's what we're all hoping for.)
